Solid Rock was started in September 2003 as a non-denominational outreach ministry to youth in the area.  The ministry of Solid Rock is to reach students who are curious about God...connect them with Christians who will help them grow in their faith...and help them learn to honor God with their lives.

Our Mission

Our goal is to aid students and teachers of the Scriptures to provide believers and non-believers with exposure to Biblical information for the purpose of furthering the gospel of Jesus Christ.  It is our desire that God would be glorified in every aspect of this ministry.  Furthermore, we wish to provide a safe place for all who wish to pursue Christ, to listen to Christian music and to praise and worship our Lord and Savior.

Our Belief Statement

We believe that the scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the inspired Word of God and are without error as originally written, and that they are the authoritative Word of God; the only infallible rule of faith and practice for the Christian life.

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons:  Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and we believe that these three are co-eternal and have equal dignity and power.

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ; His miraculous conception by the Holy Spirit; his virgin birth; His sinless and perfect life; His substitutionary death through the shedding of His blood on the Cross at Calvary; his bodily resurrection for our justification; His ascension to the right hand of the Father; his present ministry as High Priest and Advocate, and upon His Second Coming as King; and His personal and imminent return and we believe that all things shall finally be subject to Him.

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit indwelling all believers and thus enabling and empowering the life and ministry of the Christian.

We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, the everlasting blessedness of the saved, and the everlasting punishment of the unsaved.
